Tout d’abord, je tiens à remercier mes amies sans lesquelles ce fabuleux voyage aurait été impossible.
Plaçons tout d’abord les choses dans leur contexte. Etant donné que je suis issue d’une culture et d’un pays où Engin Akyürek est totalement inconnu, j’ai eu un peu de mal à faire comprendre mon enthousiasme sans limite à mon entourage, notamment à ma famille et mes amis. Il est vrai qu’ayant été très vite passionnée par son existence – au point de ne vivre que pour « Engin » depuis sa découverte – mon attachement, mon admiration profonde, voire ma folie à son égard, font que je me suis souvent sentie incomprise. Mais je maintiens fermement qu’il faut vivre cela pour le croire. Cet homme unique dégage des émotions exceptionnelles si intenses que j’ai parfois moi-même de la difficulté à les décrire que ce soit par écrit ou verbalement.
Et puis un beau jour, cette rencontre magnifique avec mon idole, que je voyais simplement en songe depuis mon humble demeure parisienne, s’est réalisée. Un rêve partagé depuis trois longues années avec mon amie Carole a pris forme en ce mois d’avril 2021.
Nous avons fait escale en Turquie, pays natal d’Engin Akyürek, le samedi 17 avril. C’était ma première visite. J’étais toute émoustillée car c’était un pas supplémentaire vers Engin.
Istanbul
Istanbul, une découverte époustouflante, et quelle ville magnifique ! Cosmopolite sur son ensemble, mais essentiellement sur le détroit du Bosphore, cette ville nous a bercées trois jours durant.
Nadir Güllü, propriétaire de Karaköy Güllüoğlu. 
Durant notre visite, Özlem, notre fort sympathique et admirable amie Stambouliote que nous n’avions jusque-là connue que virtuellement, nous a rejointes, et nous avons finalement pu faire convenablement connaissance. Nous gardons de très beaux souvenirs de ces premiers moments passés en Turquie, et cette visite préalable à celle de Bodrum nous a donné comme un avant-goût de ce qui nous attendait par la suite.
Le cofondateur de Scope Voyage, Sentürk Demircan, qui est d’une extrême gentillesse et reflète l’hospitalité et la sincérité des Turcs, nous a accueillies chaleureusement et nous a fait visiter les plus célèbres places et édifices historiques que la ville a à offrir.
En dehors de cette sortie culturelle, nous avons bien évidemment eu droit aussi à la visite de quelques lieux de tournage inoubliables des séries d’Engin Akyürek, notamment le restaurant « Gül Matfaği» Rose Kitchen et la maison de Kadir dans Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne ? ou encore la résidence d’Elif et ses sœurs et la maison rose d’Ömer et Elif dans Kara Para Aşk…
« Mavi Café » qui est malhreusement fermé. 
C’est au moment où je suis montée dans l’avion pour Bodrum que j’ai subitement été saisie par la réalisation que j’allais enfin rencontrer mon héros Engin Akyürek, l’homme au talent fou pour qui je consacre depuis trois ans passés la majeure partie de mon temps et de ma vie. La page Engin Akyürek France, que je gère avec passion sur plusieurs réseaux sociaux à la fois, les publications que je rédige, revois, et traduis diligemment pour qu’il puisse être mieux connu du public français et même international, toutes ces activités me reviennent à l’esprit au moment même où, les yeux fermés, je mets ma ceinture de sécurité.

C’est vous dire l’excitation que je ressens, rien qu’à penser que j’allais me retrouver sous peu dans la même ville que mon idole, que j’allais respirer le même air que lui, que j’allais pouvoir fouler comme lui les mêmes lieux de tournage de sa série Sefirin Kizi, et surtout que j’allais le rencontrer, lui Engin Akyürek, en chair et en os. Ah, le voir là devant moi, si grand, si imposant, si séduisant ! Que d’émotions ! L’avion décolle et je ressens une sorte d’excitation mêlée à la fois de joie et d’extase. Que va me réserver cette visite ?

Paris’ten İstanbul’a & İstanbul’dan Bodrum’a
Engin Akyürek ile Buluşma – Bölüm 1
Her şeyden önce, bu muhteşem gezinin gerçekleştirilmesine büyük katkı sunan arkadaşlarıma teşekkür etmek istiyorum, onlar olmasaydı bu mümkün olamazdı.
İlk olarak, olayları bağlam içine koyalım. Engin Akyürek’in hiç tanınmadığı bir kültürden ve ülkeden geldiğim için sonsuz coşkumu başta ailem ve arkadaşlarım olmak üzere çevremdekilere anlatmakta biraz zorlandım. Varlığından çok hızlı bir şekilde heyecanlandığım doğru – keşfinden bu yana sadece “Engin” için yaşama noktasına – ona olan bağlılığım, derin hayranlığım, hatta deliliğim, çoğu zaman yanlış anlaşıldığımı hissetmeme neden oluyor. Ama buna inanmak için bu duyguları yaşamanız gerektiğine kesinlikle inanıyorum. Bu eşsiz adam o kadar yoğun duygular veriyor ki bazen bunları yazılı veya sözlü olarak anlatmakta güçlük çekiyorum.
Ve sonra güzel bir gün, mütevazi Paris’ten, evimden bir rüyada gördüğüm idolümle bu muhteşem buluşma gerçekleşti. Arkadaşım Carole ile üç uzun yıl boyunca paylaştığımız bir rüya Nisan 2021’de şekillendi.
17 Nisan Cumartesi günü Engin Akyürek’in anavatanı Türkiye’de vardık. İlk ziyaretimdi. Engin’e doğru atılmış bir adım olduğu için oldukça heyecanlıydım.
İstanbul, nefes kesen bir keşif ve ne muhteşem bir şehir! Bir bütün olarak kozmopolit özellikle Boğaziçi, bu şehir bizi üç gün boyunca sarıp sarmaladı.
Karaköy Güllüoğlu, Türkiye’nin en ünlü Baklava markalarından biridir. Sahibi Nadir Güllü bizi çok sıcak bir şekilde karşıladı.
Ziyaretimiz sırasında, o zamana kadar sadece sanal olarak tanıdığımız çok güzel ve takdire şayan İstanbullu arkadaşımız Özlem’de aramıza katıldı ve böylece birbirimizi tanıma fırsatını bulduk. Türkiye’de geçirdiğimiz ilk anlarla ilgili çok güzel anılarımız var ve Bodrum’dan önceki bu ziyaret, sonrasında bizi neler beklediğine dair bize bir ön fikir verdi.
Son derece nazik ve Türk misafirperverliğini ve samimiyetini yansıtan Scope Voyage seyahat acentesi kurucu ortağı Şentürk Demircan bizi sıcak bir şekilde karşıladı ve şehrin ünlü meydanları ve tarihi yerlerini bize gezdirdi.
Bu kültürel gezinin yanı sıra Engin Akyürek’in dizisinin unutulmaz çekim mekanlarını, özellikle de Gül Mutfağı restoranını ve Kadir’in Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne’deki evini ziyaret ettik. Kara Para Aşk’ta Elif ve kardeşlerinin ikametgahı ve Ömer ve Elif’in pembe evi de…
Bodrum uçağına bindiğimde, üç yıldır kendimi adadığım inanılmaz yetenekli kahramanım Engin Akyürek ile nihayet karşılaşacağıma inandım. Gözlerim kapalı emniyet kemerimi taktığım anda birçok sosyal ağlarda tutkuyla yönettiğim Engin Akyürek France sayfası, Fransız ve hatta uluslararası kamuoyuna daha iyi tanınması için özenle yazdığım, gözden geçirdiğim ve tercüme ettiğim yayınlar, aklıma tüm bu etkinlikler geliyordu.

Size içimdeki bu heyecanı anlatabilmek için yakında kendimi idolümle aynı şehirde bulacaktım, onunla aynı havayı soluyacak, onun geçtiği yollardan geçecebilecektim. Onunla Sefirin Kızı dizisinin çekim yerlerinin görebilecektim. Ve onunla tanışabilecektim. Etten kemikten Engin’le.
Karşımda, çok uzun, çok heybetli, çok çekici! Çok yoğun duygularla ! Uçak havalanıyor ve içimde hem sevinç hem de heyecan dolu karışık duygular hissediyordum. Bu ziyaret bana ne getirecek?

From Paris to Istanbul & Istanbul to Bodrum
Meeting with Engin Akyürek – Part 1
First of all, I would like to thank my friends without whom this fabulous trip would have been impossible.
First, let’s put things in context. Given that I am from a culture and a country totally unknown to Engin Akyürek, it was not always easy to express my boundless enthusiasm to people around me, especially to my family and friends. It is true that I have quickly become enthralled by his very existence – to the point of living only for “Engin” since I discovered him – and my attachment, my deep admiration, even my madness towards this actor, have made it such that I am often misunderstood. However, I firmly maintain that one has to live this experience to believe it. Such intense emotions emanate from this exceptional man that I sometimes have difficulties describing them, be it in writing or verbally.
And then, one day, this wonderful encounter with my idol – that only I could imagine in my wildest dreams from my humble Parisian abode – came to life. This dream, shared during these past three long years with my friend Carole, finally came to realization this past April 2021.
We arrived in Turkey, Engin Akyürek’s mother land, on Saturday April 17, 2021. It was my first visit and I was exhilarated because this meant a step further towards Engin.
As for Istanbul, it’s a breathtaking discovery. What a magnificent city! Cosmopolitan as a whole, but mainly in the Bosphorus strait, this city rocked us for three days. The co-founder of Scope Voyage, Sentürk Demircan, an extremely kind and most welcoming host, in the vein of Turkish hospitality, greeted us warmly and showed us around the most famous sites and historical buildings that the city has to offer. Besides this cultural outing, we, of course, also visited a few of Engin Akyürek’s series filming locations, i.e., Fatmagül’s restaurant “Gül Mutfağı” (Rose Kitchen) and Kadir’s house in Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne? (What is Fatmagül’s Fault?), as well as the residence of Elif and her sisters and Ömer and Elif’s pink house in Kara Para Aşk (Black Money Love).
During our visit, Özlem, our most beloved and admired friend from Istanbul, whom we had only known so far virtually, joined us and this finally allowed us to meet in person. We keep wonderful memories of these first moments spent in Turkey, and the visit to Istanbul, prior to Bodrum, gave us something like a pre-taste of what was to come.
The instant I got into the airplane for Bodrum, it hit me suddenly that I was finally going to be able to meet my hero Engin Akyürek, the man with an incredible talent for whom I have been dedicating during these past three years most of my time and my life. The Facebook page entitled Engin Akyürek France, that I have been managing with utmost passion on several social networks concurrently, all the publications that I have written, reviewed, and translated diligently so that Engin can be better known by the French audience as well as the international community, all these activities come back to my mind as I close my eyes and secure my seatbelt.

How to explain the excitement that I feel throughout my being, just by thinking that I was going to be in a short time in the same city as my idol, that I was going to breath the same air, that I was going to be able to walk the same paths as him on the film sets of his series Sefirin Kizi, and most of all that I was going to meet him, Engin Akyürek, in person. Ah, to see him right in from of me, so tall, so charismatic, so handsome! So much emotion! The aircraft takes off and I feel excitement mixed with joy and ecstasy. What is waiting for me?
